Training records track completed eLearning courses and can also be added to reflect training completed outside of eLearning, like practical training courses or courses taken with other companies.
You can add individual training records to users' accounts or upload larger amounts of training data using our handy import tool.
⚠️Important: You’ll need access to the Admin Tool and the required permissions. If you don’t have these, please raise a new support case.
Before you start the import
Before you start, you must check and set up the training record descriptions that you need to import.
Import the data
Once you've checked training record descriptions exist, you can start the import.
Sign in to the Admin Tool.
Click Imports.
Click Training Records Imports.
Click New Import.
Click Download Template, then click Download.
Locate the downloaded training record import file in your download folder and move it to your preferred location.
Fill in the document with the training data you want to import, then save it.
Go to the Admin Tool, click Select from file, locate your saved training data file, and double-click to upload it.
Click Next Step.
Choose how you would like to identify user accounts using one of the available options.
Company External Reference: Each user you upload will need one entered on their account, and already entered on the document.
CPL Multi User ID: All users have one and is found next to a user's account name in the Admin Tool.
Select a field from the drop-down. This needs to correspond to the column title in your documents.
Click Next Step.
Link each training record description to each course.
Click Next Step.
Preview your import and click Upload.
📌Note: Allow 2 hours for stats and reports to update.
