Manage linked accounts

In this article, we explain how to link accounts and switch between them.

If you have eLearning For You accounts with different companies or employers, you can now link them together for easier access. This feature allows you to manage all your accounts with a single username and password.

⚠️Important: This feature is not for merging duplicate or cloned accounts within the same company. Duplicate accounts should be deactivated. If you need to transfer course data, please refer to this help article.

Link a new account to an existing account

To link a new account to an existing account, the existing account must have a verified email address. Follow this help article to verify or update your email if needed.

⚠️Warning: Don’t use shared email addresses. This can link your account to someone else’s by mistake and may cause you to lose access.

  1. Go to the login page and sign in for the first time using the login credentials for your new account.

  2. Enter the username, and click Continue.

  3. Enter the password, and click Sign in.

  4. Click Get Started.

  5. Enter your email address, then enter it again to confirm the email address.

  6. A message will appear that your email is already associated with another eLearning For You account. Click Yes, link accounts.

  7. Click Continue, then enter your six-digit verification code.

  8. Click Verify.

  9. Enter your password, then click Confirm.

  10. Click Sign in, then click on the account you want to access.


Link two existing accounts

  1. Sign in to one of your existing eLearning For You accounts.

  2. Click on your initials in the top right corner.

  3. In the email section, enter the verified email address of the account you want to share with this account.

  4. Click Update.

  5. A message will appear that your email is already associated with another eLearning For You account. Click Yes, link accounts.

  6. Click Continue, then enter your six-digit verification code.

  7. Click Verify.

  8. Enter your password, then click Confirm.

  9. Click Sign in, then click on the account you want to access.


Switch between accounts

Once your accounts are linked, you can switch between them at any time using the steps below.

  1. From your courses page, click the circle with your initials

  2. Click Switch Account.

  3. Select the account you want to switch to.


Unlink accounts

We now prompt all users to verify their accounts with an email address when logging in for the first time or as part of resetting their passwords. This is to enable improved account security and streamline the process of recovering accounts and resetting passwords going forward.

Some users are entering shared email addresses that link their account to anyone else using that email address. You can unlink an account attached to another, by following the steps below.

  1. From the main console, click your initials in the top right corner.

  2. Click Settings, then click Linked Accounts.

  3. Select the account you want to unlink, then click Unlink.
