A role is a status that can be assigned to a user's account to exempt them from contributing to report percentages. They can be assigned to staff on maternity leave, long-term sick, bank staff, or unavailable. The benefit of this approach is precise and accurate reporting.
โ ๏ธImportant: To manage roles, you'll need the relevant permissions to do this. If you need the permissions, raise a new support case to request access.
Assign a Role
๐Note: A role status appears on reports when the start date is today or earlier and the end date hasn't yet been reached.
Sign in to the platform.
Click Stats.
Click Descendants.
Find the user in the list by scrolling down to find their name, or use the search box.
Click the user's name.
In the top right, click Roles.
Tick the box next to the role you want to assign.
Click the pencil icon, then enter the Start Date.
Enter the End Date if known. The end date can also be entered later.
Click Done.
๐Note: Allow 2 hours for the reports to reflect the user's new role status.
Cease a Role
Sign in to the platform.
Click Stats.
Click Descendants.
Find the user in the list, or use the search box.
Click the user's name.
In the top right, click Roles.
Enter the End Date if empty, then untick the box next to the role you want to cease.
