Completed courses still showing overdue on the reports

In this article, we explain why a completed course status isn't reflecting completion on the reports.

If a completed course isn’t showing as complete in your reports, check the following:

System update time

Allow 2 to 4 hours after course completion for the status to update in reports.


Check report configurations

Make sure the course is included in the relevant compliance report column. If it’s not included, completions won’t register in that column. To check:

  1. Sign in to the Admin Tool.

  2. Click Config.

  3. Click Reporting Columns.

  4. Find and click the relevant report column.

  5. In the Include section, confirm the course is listed. eLearning courses show as type Product.


Add a course to a report column

If the course isn’t listed but should be included, update the report column by:

  1. Sign in to the Admin Tool.

  2. Click Config.

  3. Click Reporting Columns.

  4. Find and select the column.

  5. Click the Add icon in the Include section.

  6. Click Courses from the dropdown.

  7. Ticking the box next to the course and clicking Add.

  8. Click Save.

📌Note: Allow 2 hours for the reports to reflect completed courses.
