eLearning course renewals
You can create new renewal rules, amend existing ones, or remove them as needed. Renewal settings ensure that courses reopen at the right time for users to stay compliant.
Create a new course renewal
Add a renewal rule to automatically reopen courses after a set period.
From the Admin Tool, click Config.
Click Renewals, then Add.
Select the course.
Enter the Renewal Months. This is the number of months until a course is due.
Enter the Message Weeks. This refers to the number of weeks before a course is due when it reopens, and it also represents the refresher period on the compliance report.
Next, add Positions, Sites, or Divisions if required. To apply to all, leave blank.
Click Save.
📌Note: Once created, the new course renewal rules come into effect from midnight the next day.
Remove a course renewal
Delete a course renewal rule that’s no longer required.
From the Admin Tool, click Config.
Click Renewals.
Locate the course renewal and click the bin icon next to it.
Click OK.
Amend a course renewal
Edit an existing course renewal rule to update its schedule.
From the Admin Tool, click Config.
Click Renewals.
Locate the course renewal and select it.
Click Edit and update the renewal months.
Click Save.
Training record renewals
Set up training record renewals, edit existing records, or remove outdated ones to keep your compliance tracking up to date.
Create a new training record renewal
Set up a renewal rule for training records to keep them current.
From the Admin Tool, click Config.
Click Renewals, then Training Record.
Click Add.
Type in the training record description until it appears in the drop-down and then select it.
Enter the Renewal Months. This is the number of months until the training is due for completion.
Enter the Message Weeks. This refers to the number of weeks before a course is due, and it also represents the refresher period on the compliance report
Next, add Positions, Sites, or Divisions if required. To apply to all, leave blank.
Click Save.
