This feature allows you to activate automatic resets for failed courses, enabling users to retry immediately after a failure. You can customise the number of automatic resets according to your needs. Once a user reaches the maximum allowed resets, their account will require a manual reset by an administrator.

⚠️Important: You'll need Admin Tool permissions to manage automatic resets.

Enable automatic course resets

Allow courses to automatically reset for learners after they fail an assessment.

  1. Sign in to the Admin Tool.

  2. Click Details.

  3. Click Permissions.

  4. Scroll down to the Courses section.

  5. Tick the box next to No. of Auto Reset Failed Courses and select the number of auto resets you need.

  6. Scroll down and click Save.

Disable automatic course resets

Turn off the automatic reset function so courses do not reset after a failed attempt.

  1. Sign in to the Admin Tool.

  2. Click Details.

  3. Click Permissions.

  4. Scroll down to the courses section.

  5. Untick the box next to No. of Auto-Reset Failed Courses.

  6. Scroll down and click Save.

Change the number of automatic resets

Adjust how many times a course can automatically reset after a learner fails.

  1. Sign in to the Admin Tool.

  2. Click Details.

  3. Click Permissions.

  4. Scroll down to the courses section.

  5. Next to No. of Auto Reset Failed Courses, select the number of resets from the drop-down.

  6. Scroll down and click Save.
