Newly added course not available to complete

In this article, we explain some reasons why a newly added course may not be appearing on an account to complete.

There could be a few reasons a newly assigned course is not showing on an account.

  • Check the correct website is being used elearningforyou.cplonline.co.uk or your company's branded URL if you have one.

  • You may need to sign out and back into your account to refresh your course page if you haven't already.

  • It'll take 2-4 hours for newly added courses to appear in the stats section. Click on the courses tab to locate a course to complete.

  • Your company may have something called course grouping set up, and the course could be in a group you haven't yet unlocked. If they do, all visible courses must be completed before unlocking the next group.

If the course isn't appearing after checking the above, contact your manager or system administrator for more help.


Things to check as an admin or manager

If you're a manager or system administrator with Admin Tool access, there are some things you can also check.

  • If you have course grouping set up, check that the course has been included in one of the course groups.

  • If the course is already in a group, the user has to complete all courses in the current course group before unlocking the next group.

If you don't have course grouping set up, please raise a new case so we can investigate this further for you.
