Access, view, and download reports

In this article, we take you through the steps to run, view and download reports.

Our Insights reporting suite has a menu of reports available to track your staff's training. Below are some steps that will help you access the insights reporting suite and find the report you need.

You'll need certain permissions and oversight of staff to access the reports. If you can't see the Reports tab from your platform page, you won't have access and will need to request this.

Access and view a report

Use the reporting suite to navigate to a report of your choice.

  1. Sign in to the Platform.

  2. Click Reports.

  3. A new browser tab will open in the reporting suite.

  4. Click ELFY reports.

    πŸ“ŒNote: The title of the reports will be named as your company has requested and may differ from company to company.

  5. Next, click the report you want to load. See the Report overviews section below for a summary.

  6. Once you have clicked on the report you want, you can use the additional drop-down filters at the top of the page to filter the results further. For example, by report, site, job role, and region.


Report overviews

This section provides a quick reference to the different training reports available in your system. Each report serves a specific purpose, whether it's tracking compliance, monitoring course progress, or reviewing user engagement. Use this guide to understand what each report offers and when to use it for effective training oversight.

Shows completed, in-progress, and overdue training, plus overall completion %. Downloadable snapshot.

Tracks eLearning course progress over time.

Displays completion dates, time taken, and assignment status for eLearning courses.

Lists users with active training records.

Shows when training was completed and which records are currently active.

Tracks event attendance, cancellations, and learner outcomes.

Useful for reviewing team participation and event performance.

Measures learner engagement.

Shows completion dates and time spent on eLearning activities.

Monitors usage of bookshelf content.

Identifies which users have viewed specific articles.

Provides site-level training compliance data.

Groups users by site and shows course compliance percentages for each location.


Format your report

There are some things you can do to help make it easier to view and sort your report.

  • Freeze columns: You can pin the columns of a report by clicking the pin icon next to the column title. Pinning a column will fix all other columns to the left of the pinned column and will turn the pin icon black. This is used to keep the pinned columns in view when scrolling through the unpinned columns

  • Sort Columns: Use the down arrow at the top of the columns to sort the data.

    • You can sort in ascending or descending order.

    • You can search for specific text.

    • Or use the checkboxes to select multiple results.


Download your Report

You can download a report at any time. This allows you to capture the data as it appears at any given time.

  1. In the report, click on the options icon

  2. Then click on .xlsx to start the report download.

  3. After a few moments, the file will be available in your downloads.
